Moving

Ducks strike first

It was a dead end after the first frame, but it didn’t stay that way for long.

Early in the second, CJ Verdell ran 14 yards for an Oregon touchdown.

Return the favor

Halfway through the frame, CJ Stroud connected with Garrett Wilson to tie things up at 7.

Double problem

As the minutes went by before half-time, Verdell netted his second score of the night, this time on a 14-yard pass from Brown to give the Ducks a 14-7 lead before the break.

The third time is the charm

Oregon picked up where they left off to start the third quarter, as Verdell burst and found the end zone on that massive 77-yard run – good for his third score of the game.

Keep it close

Ohio State hit back with this TD between Stroud and Jaxon Smith-Njigba to keep a game to one score.

Run it back

That made things a little too close for Oregon’s comfort, so Travis Dye extended the Ducks lead with this TD – the third UO score of the day – to go up 28-14 heading into the final quarter.

To exchange

The Buckeyes had a game to one, 28-21, leading fourth, thanks to that sophisticated footwork from TreVeyon Henderson.

Tulsa in the state of Oklahoma

Fast on their feet

The Golden hurricanes‘defense came up with huge stops on OSUThe first two practices of the game to keep things scoreless in the first quarter, but Oklahoma State came out strong in the second quarter, as quarterback Spencer Sanders found Jaden Bray for a 26-yard touchdown – the first score of his cowboy career.

Reign cane

In the third quarter, Deneric Prince easily found the end zone to give the Golden Hurricanes a 14-7 lead halfway through the frame.

All business

But Sanders had other ideas, finding Bryson Green for six. The capture, which was initially ruled out of bounds, tied it at 14 at the start of the fourth quarter.
