Tickets go on sale Friday for the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference women’s basketball in Moline


Tickets go on sale this Friday December 17 for 2022 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Women’s basketball tournament at TaxSlayer Center, 1201 River Drive, Moline, March 10-13, 2022.

The MVC, in its 115th season, is the second-oldest NCAA Division I conference in the nation and is recognized as one of the nation’s most progressive track leagues, according to a Visit the quad towns out on Wednesday. This annual tournament features teams from each of the Conference’s member institutions. The tournament determines which Valley team receives an automatic bid for the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship.

Tickets for the 2022 tournament go on sale December 17 at noon, available at the TaxSlayer Center box office or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Tickets cost $ 65 for tickets reserved for all sessions; Tickets of $ 25, $ 20 and $ 12 of reserved seats per session. Tickets reserved for all sessions cost only $ 45 if purchased before January 17 through an institutional box office.

The 2022 tournament will mark the 15th consecutive season in its 40-year history that the event will take place at a neutral venue. The Valley played its postseason championship in St. Charles, Missouri – at the Family Arena – for eight consecutive seasons from 2008-2015 and has hosted the event in the Quad Cities ever since.

The MVC 2022 women’s basketball tournament will make Conference history as the title match on Sunday, March 13 will air on ESPNU for the first time. The first eight contests of the tournament will be broadcast exclusively on ESPN +.
