The Colorado State Rams and Wyoming Cowboys meet in the Mountain West college football game on Saturday from War Memorial Stadium. Colorado State has just come out of a clash with Boise State. On that outing, the Rams suffered a nine-point loss. As for the Cowboys, they played at San Jose State last weekend. Wyoming would lose by six in a tough game. Colorado State started the year with a score of 1-3, with a victory over Toledo mixed between losses to South Dakota State, Vanderbilt and Iowa. The Rams claimed two victories over San Jose State and New Mexico before losing 26-24 to Utah State.

Last weekend against Boise State, the Rams had a 13-0 lead early on, but ultimately couldn’t hold onto it in a 28-19 loss. QB Todd Centeio had 276 yards with one touchdown and also led the race with 65 yards. Trey McBride also added 103 yards on 10 receptions.

On the Wyoming side, they started the season with four wins over Montana State, Northern IL, Ball State and UConn. The Cowboys hit the skates after that, falling to the Air Force, Fresno State and New Mexico on their next trio of outings.

In the Oct. 30 game against San Jose State, Wyoming scored in three of four quarters but couldn’t follow in a 27-21 loss. QB Levi Williams had 129 yards, two scores and two picks. Xazavian Valladay led the rushed offense for 172 yards on 22 carries.

The Rams are 2-8 ATS in the last 10 on turf and the least is 4-0 in their last four on the road. The under is also 6-1 in Colorado State’s last seven games.

Meanwhile, the Cowboys are 1-4 ATS against a team with a loss and 0-5 ATS record in their last five total games. Wyoming is also 0-4 ATS in its last four conference games.

TO TAKE: I will try Wyoming here. The Cowboys only had a few bad defensive stretches in the San Jose State game, but 238 rushing yards and 6.6 yards per game average were enough to push Wyoming into the L column. the other side, the Cowboys produced fairly well with 400 total yards, 271 rushing yards and 18 first downs.

As for the Rams, they gave Boise State 430 yards and 27 first downs, but they weren’t too bad offensively either. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a higher scoring game here, but I still love the Cowboys on a blanket.
